 Faerie Maven Rachael is a passionate
(compassionate) singer and composer who lives in Victoria, British
Columbia with her three very fairy-like daughters. She is affecting people's lives in wonderful ways with her latest C.D. release "Believe In Joy".
Through combining her
beautiful music with her knowledge in sound therapy and light work,
Rachael has created songs that nurture the magical connection between
parent and child. Rachael has carefully chosen a wide variety of
instruments and song styles that create various atmospheres. Then she
selected certain tones, modes and rhythms that resonate with the body's
natural frequencies to evoke specific emotions in the hope of tapping
into this huge well of love which
resides inside of us all.
Rachael's music is light and dancy to soft and sleepy. Sweet
angel bells, rich Indian Tabla, pixie percussion and full size Celtic
harp join to express the joyous true diversity of the faerie realm.
Each song has joyful, loving images with a healthy message both parent
and child will love.
"The last track on the CD is a
going-to-sleep song or lullaby, prefaced by a short conversation
between mother and child. Then we are left in that twilight zone of
All-Possible, when the doors between conscious and unconscious, daytime
and nighttime worlds are wide open. Rachael's voice is brilliant, in
the visual, aural and figurative senses of that word. It sounds as if a

Rachael Bruton holds a Bachelors degree in Education majoring in
Theatre, English and Classical voice. She has studied Voice since she was 14 and now teaches
Vocal technique and sound therapy privately around the greater Victoria
area.
Rachael performs her
fairie music throughout Victoria in schools, various book-stores and
venues. She also performs for special events and seminars.
Rachael directs and
writes music for children's school choirs, ages 7-12.
Her CD "Believe In Joy"
is used widely by pre-schools, day-cares, classrooms, therapists and
many families.
